You don’t have to stay the night to spend a day on Seraya Kecil. Just 9km north of Labuan Bajo, The Seraya makes an easy escape from the mainland, with a long stretch of beach, clear water and a house reef just offshore. Arrive by traditional wooden boat or speedboat, settle in by the beach or pool, and make the most of the island before heading back to Labuan Bajo.
Make a Day of It
Beach, Pool, Repeat
There is a 200m private beach to explore, a swimming pool to dip into, and plenty of places to settle in between. Spend the morning in the water, the afternoon by the pool, or move between the two.
The Reef Is Right Here
The house reef runs along the length of the property, with colourful corals, anemones, and marine life in the shallows. Swim towards the drop-off for the chance to see turtles and reef sharks. Dugongs have even been spotted here.
Paddle Out
Take a complimentary kayak or SUP and head out from the beach. Paddle around Seraya Kecil in about 90 minutes, or make your way towards Seraya Besar, Hatamin, or Anita.
Out on the Jetty
The 145m jetty stretches over the reef, with hammocks and platforms along the way. Sit perched above the water, watch the reef below, or take a swim straight from the jetty.
